  • non-stick tart pan (or baking sheet)
  • small bowl


  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup tomato sauce (112 g)
  • 1 ball mozzarella cheese (fresh -sliced)
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • leaves basil (fresh -for garnish)


  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Transfer the puff pastry to a buttered non-stick tart pan.
    Or transfer the puff pastry to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, to obtain a pizza shape.
  • Pell the garlic cloves and mince them.
    In a small bowl, mix minced garlic with olive oil and tomato sauce. Spread this mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
  • Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and slice the mozzarella.
    Arrange the thinly sliced tomatoes and mozzarella over the puff pastry, slightly overlapping each slice.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
