  • Once placed in the egg cup, to keep it upright, use a knife to gently tap around the top of the egg to create a score mark, then carefully remove the top portion of the shell. This reveals the soft, runny yolk inside, which can be dipped into with small pieces of bread or toast for a simple yet satisfying breakfast or snack.
