  • 2 mixing bowl (1 large, 1 small)
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 Rubber spatula
  • 1 loaf pan


  • 5 eggs
  • 5 tbps all purpose flour
  • 7 oz ham (200 g)
  • 4.4 oz butter (125 g)
  • 3 ½ oz swiss cheese or gruyère cheese (100 g)
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup parsley
  • salt and pepper


  • Preheat the oven to 392 °F.
  • In a large salad bowl, mix the solid elements: flour, baking powder and Swiss cheese.
  • Melt the butter.
  • In a small salad bowl, mix the liquid elements: eggs, mustard, butter, with a whisk.
  • Pour the liquid contents into the solid contents and mix well with a spatula. Add the ham and parsley.
  • Pour into a silicone loaf pan or a non-stick buttered loaf pan (lightly buttered).
  • Bake for 45 minutes.
  • Enjoy the cake hot, warm or cold with a salad or as an appetizer.


You can add black or green olives.
You can substitute the ham with turkey.
