Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)
  • 3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • 3.52 oz dark chocolate (100 g) melted
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp pistachios or hazelnuts (crushed)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Avocados: scoop out the flesh of the ripe avocados and place them in a blender or food processor.
  • Add Cocoa Powder and chocolate: add the unsweetened cocoa powder to the avocados in the blender. Melt the chocolate (microwave or double boiler) and add it in the blender.
  • Sweeten It Up: pour in the maple syrup or honey for sweetness. Adjust the amount based on your preferred level of sweetness.
  • Blend Until Smooth: blend the avocados, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, sweetener, almond milk and a pinch of salt until you achieve a smooth and velvety consistency.
  • Chill in the Refrigerator: transfer the chocolate avocado mixture to serving dishes or glasses. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the pudding to set.
  • Serve and Garnish: once chilled, serve the Chocolate Avocado Pudding on its own or with your favorite toppings. Sliced strawberries, chopped nuts, or a dollop of whipped cream are excellent choices.

Notes

  • For a smoother texture, you can strain the pudding mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any avocado fibers.
  • Experiment with different sweeteners and adjust according to your taste preferences.
  • Customize your toppings for added flavor and texture.
