Chocolate Avocado Pudding

- 1 blender
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)
- 3 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- ½ cup almond milk
- 3.52 oz dark chocolate (100 g) melted
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp pistachios or hazelnuts (crushed)
- Prepare the Avocados: scoop out the flesh of the ripe avocados and place them in a blender or food processor.
- Add Cocoa Powder and chocolate: add the unsweetened cocoa powder to the avocados in the blender. Melt the chocolate (microwave or double boiler) and add it in the blender.
- Sweeten It Up: pour in the maple syrup or honey for sweetness. Adjust the amount based on your preferred level of sweetness.
- Blend Until Smooth: blend the avocados, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, sweetener, almond milk and a pinch of salt until you achieve a smooth and velvety consistency.
- Chill in the Refrigerator: transfer the chocolate avocado mixture to serving dishes or glasses. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the pudding to set.
- Serve and Garnish: once chilled, serve the Chocolate Avocado Pudding on its own or with your favorite toppings. Sliced strawberries, chopped nuts, or a dollop of whipped cream are excellent choices.
